Affordable, Fun, Value for Money

If you are struggling with a new digital camera, or have a camera sitting in a drawer, but feel you're not using it to its full potential, our brand new Photo Walks for photography beginners are the answer.

Thousands of people now own digital cameras. Others have good quality film cameras that can produce beautiful images. Prices are more affordable and modern cameras have become increasingly sophisticated, with thicker and thicker instruction manuals! However, most users leave their cameras firmly stuck on auto and whilst this can be fine for the most basic photography, good photographs can't be produced for anything else. Perhaps you see a beautiful sunset, love the bright lights of a cityscape at night or would like to photograph a breathtaking landscape.

Carefully aimed at beginner photography enthusiasts who enjoy walking or rambling, and want to capture beautiful photographs of the scenery, cityscapes and wildlife en route, we take you on organised walks in beautiful countryside, beaches or towns. The walks are fun, enjoyable, minimal gradients and are an easy 2 to 5 miles in length. Some of our walks start, finish or go past pubs or tea shops allowing the opportunity for refreshments and comfort breaks on the route.

Our Photo Walks, restricted to a maximum 20 attendees, cover the basics of finding your way around your camera, and the rules of composition, hints and tips for photographing scenery and wildlife, and how to prepare your images for printing. There will be lots of opportunity to practice on the route as well as handouts that include additional information and advice.

Attendees can also join our password protected photography forum for post photo walk attendees that provide support as well as being able to upload some of their images to the forum for feedback from both members and YouNique. Our forum is a great way of meeting fellow amateur photographers and learning more skills after the day.

A Photo Walk covering all the above, starts from just £20. Lunch available. Contact us for full details.
